Mayvina Wee is an international board certified lactation consultant (IBCLC). She holds a bachelor in Bachelor of Science of Life Sciences (Biomedical Sciences) from National University of Singapore
She is passionate about helping families transition into parenthood with compassionate support and evidence-based knowledge. In her practice, she marries her knowledge of lactation from both traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine and Biomedical background to provide the best support to breastfeeding mothers.
As a mother of 4 who has been through 4 different breastfeeding journeys, she intimately understands the joy little successes can bring and also the difficulties that breastfeeding families face. With 7 years of counseling breastfeeding families and having also personally been through challenging breastfeeding journeys, she believes in empowering parents, particularly first-time parents, with evidence-based breastfeeding knowledge so that they will be well-equipped to make informed decisions for themselves and their baby. With that, they will then be able to navigate through the early days of breastfeeding and parenthood with confidence.
Mayvina also works intimately with new breastfeeding families to help them navigate through challenges and help them achieve their breastfeeding goals. She aims to help breastfeeding families experience the joy, fulfillment, and benefits of breastfeeding.
