Brief Professional Background

Chan Yee Shuin is a licensed Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) physician who graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science from Nanyang Technological University and a bachelor’s degree in Chinese medicine from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. Inspired by various mentors during her course of study and clinical practice, she aims to bring quality, effective and holistic Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) treatments to her patients.

Having worked with children as a volunteer, she developed a strong interest in paediatric conditions, especially in employing paediatric tuina to treat and prevent illnesses. Knowing that the journey of conceiving, pregnancy, and eventually postpartum care is not easy, she supports mothers through TCM practices to ensure both mother and child are happy and well. An avid believer of preventive medicine, she also hopes that she can extend her reach beyond patients in the clinic to help people from all walks of life to utilize TCM methods for preservation of good health and improve their quality of life. By breaking down extensive TCM knowledge into bite-sized “nuggets of wisdom”, everyone can benefit from TCM.
